Calgary, 25 April 2012

Dear all voters and volunteers of mine!

I wish to thank you some 1,414 voters of mine for your support on 23 April. You represent 9% of about the 57% eligible voters that decided to cast their ballots. Thank you for your faith in me and the platform of the Alberta Liberal Party (ALP). Rest assured that I’ll continue to pursue this platform by my various means of active ALP actions. Your comments and suggestions to Kurt@Kurt-Foothills.com will be very much welcomed.

To my 30 volunteers over the last 12 months: I could not have come this far without your dedicated assistance. Thank you to all of you: Keith, Stephen, Shannon, Amit, Vincent, Margaret, Rob, Darshni, Wayne, Alain, Joy, Keith, Larry, Karen, Dale, David, Bob, Harry, Laureen, David, Randy, David, Shameem, Marilyn, James, Linda, Leo, Kristi, Jennifer, and Raj.

Finally, I do wish to congratulate Len Webber with his election. I also wish to commend Len, Dustin and Jennifer for conducting a fair, clean election campaign in the constituency of Calgary-Foothills.

Thanks from

Kurt Hansen
ALP Candidate
Calgary-Foothills

Events
April 21: Kurt attends AGM of the Sherwood Community Association. No other Calgary-Foothills Candidates (or their representatives) appear present.

April 21: Calgary Herald plans to interview Kurt and a Campaign Volunteer (in action of door canvassing on 22 April) on the topic of ‘Getting Voters out to Vote’. Our simple message will be: Knock on the doors of your constituents and get to know them and their needs. We’ve been doing that since July 2011, and are humbly proud to announce that we’ve personally reached out to 60% of Calgary-Foothills residents and listened to them over the last nine months.

April 23: It’s up to you to consciously decide among the following options: (i) vote for your preferred party regardless of your candidates; (ii) vote for your preferred candidate (if you care to research his further credibility and qualifications to represent your personal interests & needs); or (iii) vote for a political change regardless, but be aware of your future expectations (change for the sake of voting for “an assumed winning party” versus voting for an ALP Candidate that will be your effective Opposition Representative – listening to your needs). If elected, I’ll be at your doors this summer to listen further, guaranteed.
